The purpose of this training is to raise awareness of the prevalence of domestic abuse amongst adults with care and support needs and the various forms it might take; increase understanding of the support needs of people experiencing domestic abuse, particularly when combined with other care and support needs; and to encourage partnership working to best meet the needs of an individual.
