Aims & Learning Outcomes:
This course will explore online safety, both in terms of professional boundaries and using the internet safely in your work with children and young people, as well as looking at how we can protect children and young people who are faced with a myriad of online threats, including gambling skins, harassment, grooming, exploitation, viral scares and more.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Identify issues of e-safety that impact on children
- Recognise signs that a child is experiencing or at risk of experiencing abuse online
- Know what to do when concerned about a child’s safety online
- Realising the importance of professional boundaries online
This training is for professionals who have regular contact with children and young people. Groups 2-4
