Aim
To improve practitioners understanding of the legal framework in relation to child protection and to begin to understand child protection processes and procedures.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the training session participants will:
- Have knowledge of the legal framework relating to child protection
- Understand what they have to do if they have concerns about a child
- Know what to do if they experience barriers when referring concerns about a child
- Understand their role in completing multi agency assessments
- Have an awareness of the safer working practices & the process to manage allegations against adults who work with children
