Gypsy Traveller families in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are more likely to experience poor physical and mental health outcomes, have higher rates of child mortality, and significantly poorer education outcomes. This course aims to support practitioners to work sensitively with Gypsy/Traveller families.


In this session, we will:

  • Discuss cultural context within the Gypsy Traveller community
  • Consider health and social care disparities affecting Gypsy Traveller families
  • Offer practitioners greater insight into the lived experience of Gypsy Traveller families.
