My name is Chris Acourt
I am Detective Sergeant in Cambridgeshire Constabulary specialising in the investigation of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking offences.
I have been a Police officer for over 23 years and have worked in a variety of roles (both uniform and plain clothes) across the county. I have led a number of complex Modern Slavery investigations across the county, utilising both Police resources and that of valuable partners. I am passionate about safeguarding victims and bringing offenders to justice.
