Dr Emilia Wawrzkowicz is the Designated Doctor for Safeguarding Children and a Consultant Paediatrician based in Peterborough. She qualified from Charring Cross and Westminster Medical School in London in 1997.
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and represents the College in the Department of Health project groups for Human Trafficking and Child Sexual Exploitation. She is a member of the College faculty providing regular safeguarding training.
She is a trained Paediatric Forensic Medical Examiner and works across the region examining victims of sexual abuse.
